I have an instinctive approach to my art.  In my paintings I often using only a palette knife and subtle color to exaggerate or distort natural urban phenomena, searching for ‘the mood of the moment’.  The collages are created with mixed paper; often found on my national and international travels, junk stores, and old magazines.  The juxtaposition and multiplications of layers guide the viewer’s attention towards building a visual map of the constantly changing urban environment.  All are mounted on archival paper and have a protective covering of polymer varnish with UVLS.
