An Animated Field Guide to Fairies Fantasticus - The Story

This began as a popup book that I entered into the juried Stand and Deliver popup exhibit in April 2004. This exhibit was sponsored by the Brookfield Craft Center and The Movable Book Society. Ed Hutchins, of www.artistbooks.com, who encouraged me to submit a book, curated the exhibit.

I entered a 5.5 x 7.5 popup book, with an animated CD. It got accepted in the "uplifting pages" category! I also was priveleged enough to create the animated CD that went with the catalog for this exhibit. It is still available online.

The Field Guide was a limited edition of 20 popup books. They included a pocket in the front with a CD of flash animations. The entire limited edition run sold out. The CD and a full color 8-page CD booklet are still available.
